VDIT Forum

The 2023 VDIT Forum was held on Friday the 17th of November at the city campus of Monash University. The event focused on strategic issues of specific interest to ICT professionals working in the higher education and research sector.

The Forum hosted a panel session focused on Women in Information Technology.

In addition, there were three presentation/discussion sessions hosted by the Chair persons of the VDIT Community of Practice groups on:

Cyber security;

The Agile Development Approach; and

Artificial Intelligence/Chat GPT

The VDIT Forum is an annual free event targeting the senior ICT professionals working in the sector in Tasmania and Victoria, as well as invited participants from other states and sectors. 

Participants joined with CIO/CDOs, industry analysts, commentators and the senior University ICT professional cohort to discuss these and other important issues.

Parking Space (Paid or pay as you park): The closest carpark is 750 Collins St Car Park which is behind the College on Fishplate Lane. Directly opposite 750 Collins Street is 737 Bourke Street , which is also accessed via Fishplate Lane.
